The Pens really laid some turds in both games against the Sabres this season. However, the Sabres played well in both and I certainly have to give them credit.
But Garth, playoffs? The Leafs are 8 points ahead with only a little more than a month left. Sorry, I don't think that will happen. Even if it does it will likely mean playing either Boston or TB in the first round. I know TB has choked a lot in the playoffs recently but after last playoffs I can't see them choking in the first round again. And against Boston, the Sabres would be lucky to not get swept. They are probably better off tanking again for a better draft pick.
Yet the Sabres are behind a team in points that can't beat a guy outta the stands. All these guys make millions of dollars and can't beat a Zamboni driver. Says the nhl is a joke. And all of us including myself are fools. If ya think the joke is on the leafs and their fans. It's not. It's on all of us.
